satvottarais-satata-sevya-padambujena samsara-taraka-dayardra-drgancalena, saumyopayantr-munina mama darsitau te sri-venkatesa! caranau saranam prapadye Venkatesa! I seek refuge of Thy feet which are shown to be by the sage Manavala, the sage whose feet are always worshipped by the Sattivic people (i.e., men of sattva guna) and whose mind, merciful glances enable (men) to cross the ocean of transmigration (i.e. samsara).
