avani-tanaya-kamaniya-karam rajanikara-caru-mukhambu-ruham, rajanicara-raja-tamo-mihiram mahaniyam aham raghuramam aye. I seek refuge of Raghurama whose hand is desired by sita (or that does what Sita likes), who has a beautiful face like the Moon, who is (like) the Sun (to put an end) to the darkness, i.e., Ravana (the King of Demons) and who is exalted.
